Hey everyone! I’ve got some exciting news that I can’t keep to myself any longer. This year, I’m heading to StarEast 2025 – and not just as an attendee, but as a speaker! 🎉 StarEast is one of the biggest testing conferences in the world, and I’ll be there representing Sii Poland. The event takes place from April 27 – May 2, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. My talk is on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

I’m beyond excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to take the stage.

My talk is titled “Playwright Tips & Tricks: Why Does Microsoft’s Framework Perform So Well for Testing?” Sounds serious? Don’t worry – I promise it won’t be a boring theory session.

I’ll be sharing practical insights, cool tricks, and real-world experiences to show why Playwright (Microsoft’s testing framework) is such a powerful tool and how you can make the most of it in your daily testing work.

During my session, I’ll cover:

  • How to use Playwright Trace Viewer to quickly debug failing tests
  • Running parallel tests to reduce execution time significantly
  • Integrating Playwright with tools like Lighthouse for performance audits and Checkly for monitoring
  • And much more!

But StarEast isn’t just about my talk. It’s an incredible event packed with top-notch speakers, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities with testers from all over the world. I’ve been looking at the agenda, and honestly, it feels like being a kid in a candy store – so many great sessions to choose from!

I’m especially excited about meeting other testers, sharing knowledge, and getting inspired by new ideas that I can bring back to Sii and beyond.

So, if you’re attending StarEast 2025 (either in person or online), I’d love to see you at my session! Come say hi, grab a seat, and let’s talk about Playwright. 😁 And if you can’t make it, keep your fingers crossed for me – I’ll make sure to share my key takeaways after the event.
